Canal Village Farmer's Market

Medina, NY
Community development, food access, economic development, and educational/health initiatives
Our mission is to promote the sale of fresh produce and other locally made products.
Since 2015, the Orleans Renaissance Group, Inc. has operated the Canal Village Farmers’ Market on the site where once existed a Shell gas station, circa 1964. As Medina’s community farmer’s market, it features area farms– livestock products, fruit and vegetable, artisans, crafters, food vendors, musicians, community groups, wineries, children’s activities and more. The market operates Saturday mornings, currently year round: May to October at the corner of W Center and West, and from October to May at 345 Main St (the old Napa building) in the lower level by the basin.
We are always looking for new volunteers to help setup and watch the market, help run SNAP payments, and answer any questions or inquiries the community has. We're also looking always for vendors!
A few hours on Saturdays, usually a once or twice a month. More or less as needed! We are flexible.
